Slope arrow and percent
« on: January 15, 2023, 06:15:54 PM »
Lars Hi.
I would like to ask you if it is possible to plot in a dwg a line with an arrow and a number (in percent) by selecting 2 points with different elevations (Scipping to draw a 3d polyline)?
For example, if I insert measured points in Autocad and I want to show slopes between some points how can I do it faster?
Thank you in advance.

Lars

Hi,

Change "Mode" to Slope" (in the Mode Menu on main form)
You will see two toolbars, the second is what you should use.

  • Check the radiobutton below the Slope% input box. This indicates that you want to annotate the slope between two points.
  • Make sure the button with Z doesn't have a red cross, if so click it once make your pick target elevation of point.
  • Press the fourth button from left (Arrow and letter A)
  • Select first point
  • Select last point
  • Select annotation point

In CadTools Setting, Slope Mode Tab you find some useful setting when using Slope Mode. Show history is very useful to check picked values and slopes.

For more information read the helpfile.
