Hey Lars,
Love your work :] I've got a registered copy of CadTools, but I'm having some trouble editing a surface. I created the surface using CadTools and saved it to a .tsd. I then load the surface in the view/edit command, plot the triangles, delete the unwanted triangles, click 'Surface' > 'Save Surface', then select the triangles... it says that the triangles that I selected aren't CadTools Triangles - when it was CadTools that plotted those exact same triangles.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
- leighton
Edit: I'm using AutoCAD Mechanical 2010

Hi!
I'll look into that as soon as possible! A workoround is to import all triangles to file when you are done editing (Edit Surface). The difference from the save command is that CadTools doesn't check if the triangles are plotted from CadTools. Make sure you only select triangles that is your surface, no filtering for CadTools triangles is made by the import command.

Ah thanks mate :] I was wondering when you'd wake (I'm in Aus)... and your solution worked wonderfully. I was editing the file and removing entries triangle-by-triangle. Took forever.
Thanks again :]

Hi Leighton and thank you for the feedback.
I'm about to go to my real work and was just testing your error on AutoCAD 2009 and there's no problem. CadTools puts information about the origin software in objects X-data. When saving triangles only objects created by CadTools triangle function will be processed, that has worked well for a couple of years now.
I wounder if you could be kind and post me a sample dwg with some problem triangles. You could send it to lars.karlsson@glamsen.se
