Hi Lars,
I've got a problem generating a longitudinal profile: in some area of the triangulation I get an abnormal "hole" or, sometimes, "peak" (see figure attached), but the triangulation is ok. Why does it happen? Thanks

Thats odd!
Could you please send me yor surface file and a dwg with the alignment.
Send it to: lars.karlsson@glamsen

Hi! I've been looking throug your surface and found the problem. I you use AtoCAD's orbit to tilt the surface you will notice that there are some bad triangles placed below the top triangles. The location for these triangles is next to your alignment.
Delete the bad triangles and save the surface and it will work as it should. cadtools don't like overlapping triangles.
A closer look reveals many bad triangles, you should consider retriangulate your design model.

Good! Thanks for your support!

I’ve found that this behavior sometimes occur when one use constrained triangulation in CadTools. This is due extremely small triangles. This will be fixed in next update.
