Title: Surface Profile & Cross Sections
Post by: trent on February 02, 2011, 03:53:18 AM

Hi Lars,

Is it possible to save settings for your frame line types etc in the profile dialog box, to save changing the seetings everytime you plot to the drawing?

Also i think it would be a great addition to be able to add a vertical datum annotation to levels when plotting profiles and cross sections. (We often work in different datums and annotate our levels with 0 mCD for Chart Datum for example).

Hi!

Yes, colors and probably layers to will be able to save in next update. Datum? I don't understand that.
Could it be so that you would like to set start and end elevation for the frame to whatever you like? That would result in a clearance space above and below the surface?

Have I got it right? If not could you please attach a DWG with a sample and a short description? Or send it to me at: lars.karlsson@glamsen.se

Hi Lars,

The ability to save preferences for layers and colours would be great.

I would like to be able to set a annotation after each label for heights. We often work in different vertical datums. A datum is like a bench mark or your 0m reference point.

So being able to annotate what datum the cross section is based on would be good.

The attachment shows a profile with levels based on AHD (Australian Height Datum which is based on mean sea level)

Some of your request is in the available download. I'll add some settings for suffix and prefix for datum annotations in next update.
