how to added some feature define cross section extract,
probably output in excel like this
-
Hi!
There is a lot of work to achieve that. Why would anyone like to have these values exported to Excel?
-
there is a problem to apply 2d polyline cross section with base point and define left and right side, to perpendicular along path 3dpolyline . and use that code is easy to draw road cross section on terraain profile
-
Cross-sections in Profiles? Do you want to draw crossing roads in a profile?
-
yes , and build surface from it , maybe something like this...
select 2dpolyline >>cross section define basepoint>>define left and right cross section>>select 3dpolyline path >> reverse (Y/N) >>save to surface
-
why U guys. not use webmoney or liberty reserve for donation form ?

I think you can do this but in a different way. Create a alignment by using AutoCAD's polyline. Convert it to a 3Dpolyline. Create a surface profile and draw your profile line as a 2Dpolyline in the surface frame.
Finally create a alignment by using the "Create alignment" command that combine your profile and horizontal to a alignment.
Offset the alignment to get edge of pavements, use create longitudinal features command to create ditch bottoms.
Create a surface based on Centerline EOP and Ditch bottoms. Now you can display this surface as a subsurface in profile or cross-sections.
It's all described in the help file.
