Title: Draw from Cordinates text or Mtext
Post by: aldebaran on August 11, 2015, 07:11:43 PM
Hi  Lars
In the command draw  from cordnates text inserts only text
not mtext.  Can you make  the possibility to select on of them?
Also you can put controls to divide the text to two or three lines or
have an extra column for diferent layers.

For MTEXT you can use AUTOcad's Express Tools to convert plain textstrings to MTEXT. Adding MTEXT with line breaks through code would be ineffective since the user needs to provide a set of characters for every line break.

Hi Lars

Column with pop down list of layers where I could address each text to different layers would be very welcome please.

Cheers

Hi!

You can type in your grid data into Excel and sort by a column (Layer) then paste text with same layer into CadTools.
press "Draw" and then Clear the grid and paste next section and son on....
