Dear Lars,
I stumbled on CadTools yesterday looking for a programme to plot simple long sections, generate earthworks and plot cross sections.
It looks marvellous and just the job.
As I run a perpetual ACAD Lt license, is there anyway for CADtools to run in a standalone mode? or through another program that would mean I could avoid having to start paying a month fee to Autocad?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi,
I'm sorry but CadTools will not be a "standalone" software. As it is right now it needs AutoCAd or ZWCAD and I've no plans for adding support for other CAD software.

Hi,
Thank you. I hadn't come across ZWCAD before. It looks good, and if your program works alongside it then it may well be the way to go for my long sections and cross-sections.
Thank you again.
