Turn path output
« on: October 25, 2011, 01:30:23 AM »
Is it possible for the plotted vehicle on the turn path to have multiple wheels. If a truck has dual rear axels could two wheels be plotted instead of the current one. I know it's obvious that the plotted rear wheel is the centre of the dual axels, however, when I deal with Council staff logic seems to go out the window.

Hi!
There's no option for that right now. I was quite happy to get this piece of code to work as expected in the first place.
I've been looking into the code and it's possible to extend it a bit. It will have some impact on the calculation speed but I think there are some benefits in case of presentations. There won't be any option for the user to select dual axles though, it will be activated based of the vehicle type. The reason for that is based on coding, it's the easiest way right now.

I'll start later this week with CadTools and and BricsTurn and probably MSTurn during the weekend. I'll drop you a note when the upgrade is in place ready to download.
