Wrong Version - Autocad 2014 SP1
« on: May 27, 2014, 02:37:48 PM »
I use CadTools quite frequently, however when I did the latest service pack update for Autocad 2014, I can no longer get it to work.  I have tried to manually enter in the version in the options but have not had any luck with that.

Under the Product Version is is listed as: I.108.0.0, AutoCAD 2014 SP1.

Typing acadver: 19.1s (LMS Tech)

Any help with getting CadTools up and running again?

Thanks

Lars

You should use AutoCAD version 2014 from the dropdown list. No typing.
Try to launch CadTools as an Administrator. Simply find the shortcut for CadTools, right click on it then in the Compatibility tab select the option that say: Run this program as an Administrator.

FINALLY!!!  Turns out the issue was Autocad was not being "Run As Administrator", not CadTools.  All is well in the end.
