Vehicle Turning Simulation for Bricscad?
« on: July 04, 2010, 11:41:37 AM »
I'm plannig to port CadTools Vehicle Turning command to separate application for Bricscad V10. I already have it working on Bricscad but there are some issues left to solve.

Does anyone know if there is any freeware similar to CadTools Turning command? Before I go any further I need to know if its worth the effort.

I couldn't find anything else than the turn.lsp and some ACAD blocks with swept paths for different vehicles... :-\

Yes, that's about all I could find to. A Bricscad version of the Turning command might be in place. I haven't decided yet if that one is going to be totally free.

Finally I’ve decided to distribute the Vehicle Turning command as a standalone application for Bricscad and I’ll name it “BricsTurn”. To keep it simply the registration process for BricsTurn will be identical to CadTools. Registered users to CadTools will be able to run BricsTurn and vice versa.

The release is planned to one or two weeks from now.
