CONTOURS COMMAND
« on: July 18, 2020, 10:31:15 AM »
Hello
after a lot time I used the  the command contour.
I had a surface file and  and I wanted to draw contours
with interval 0.10 and minor per major 1 .
The result is ok but the layers of intervals are wrong
Looks like having interval  0.3 and minors per major 5
To these major that puts to wrong layer omits the anotation of height.
Is a problem only for me or has any other has the same problem?
Also when  I tried to use  had  wrong version of autocad and I could change.
To change the version Unistaled and installed again cadtools.
I use autocad 2007 and cadtools 736 and windows 10

I've checked it and all seems to work as it should.

If you want a major contour at 1 then you set interval value to 1 (as you did). To get minor at every tenth you need to set minor to 9 (look in the helpfile). Minors per Major value is the number of minors between majors, 5 vill give you minors at interval 0,16 (1/6)

Tip!
For annotations you can turn off automatic annotations and use "Annotate by Fence" after executing the command. Annotate by Fence will give you the opportunity to place annotations along a crossing line at any position.
