Have you considered developing a stand alone version of your turning software? I'm always wanting to test vehicle turning at existing intersections where the only information I have is an aerial photograph. It would be great to have a small piece of software that I could import an aerial/image (or dwg) into then scale by defining the distance between two points in the image. I would then like to be able to assess the turns without needing to go to the time and expense of a survey and CAD drawing.
I have come across something called "Sweep" that does this but not very well.

Hi!
No I've not consider to make it more standalone. I get your point about not needing a CAD software. I think that's over my capabilities in coding though.
Anyway, thanks’ for the suggestion

I understand. It is probably one of these things that requires a lot of time and expertise that should be reimbursed in some way and hence there has never been an open source tool.
