Add Update for Cadtools
« on: August 11, 2010, 04:41:04 PM »
Dear Sir,

Please add the following options in our Cad Tools....

1. Add Text Alignment option globally and Layer option (in 6th Column) at every Coordinate in Text at Point in Draw Text/Polyline/.. from Coordinates.

2. Add one more option to Draw ....Coordinates i.e Point at Coordinate Layerwise (Columns Shall be X, Y, Layer in 3 Columns).

3. In surface cross sections add offset and level options in output below every 2d cross section.

Thanks & Rgds

Hi!

1. This can be done right now by selecting all plotted text and use the AutoCAD's properties "Justify". A option for Text Alignment would be a slightly quicker way I'll consider that request

2. Layers column? This can cost performance. Before sending data to AutoCAD CadTools need to check if all layers in the grid exists in the drawing, if not it has to be created. I'm not totally convinced about this but I'll consider it.

3. This needs some further explanations. Have you checked the options in the Output Settings menu?

Dear Sir,

I have seen the Output settings of Surface Cross Sections.

Reference to my earlier post, my point is that, to dispaly offsets and levels cut on triangulation, this can be better explained from my attchment.

Thanks &  Rgds

I also wanted to make prop. no.3.  I don't think it's hard to do but it is very useful

Hi!

I think the "Annotate Cross section" command does that. Not exactly but all information is there but in a table
