contour problem
« on: May 29, 2010, 02:27:51 PM »
I would first like to thank Lars for his valuable work. I have a problem with the contour lines. If 2 vertices, and then one side of the triangle, have an altitude at which they should pass exactly one contour, the contour is not drawn.

See attached files.

Hi, and thank you for the feedback.

Nice of you to give me the background data. It's easy for me to reproduce the error.
I took a swift look at the code and indentyfied the part that could be the problem. This will be corrected in next update.

I guess I'm posting to late but I had the same problem when I tried to extract contours from a triangulation based on the vectorization of a contour plan...

Hi, this is corrected in my "developer version" and will be in next update. There's always a chance that some other situations in the contour code will malfunction after my editing but I'll deal with that later If it happens.

I can't put a date for the update, I need to finish the Vehicle Turning Simulation command first. I was to optimistic in the complexity of all kinds of vehicles, my plan was to support three types but this is now extended. In some countries booth double trailer and triple trailer are common vehicles and CadTools need to manage them to.
