Hey Lars,
I noticed in the text volume report that there are triangles with centroid cords (0,0). Why is this reported?
Is it some kind of error? I 'd like an answer about this.
Then is it possible not to report the centroids, and report the coordinates of the six points that create the triangles
of the prismoid you calculate the volume?
I find it more usefull to calculate the "sum"centroid of all the centroids that the prismoids have.

Hi!

The centriod values helps locating triangles of interest. Triangles with centroid X and Y values as zero should be values from a triangle at that position. Depending on type (estimated or  almost exact) triangles can be of a imaginary type or real.

Centroids values from Estimated volume calculations should contain values from real design triangles. Centroids from almost exact calculation contains imaginary triangles because these triangles are a combination of both surfaces (design and existing).
There are two images of both types in the helpfile, these images gives a hint of the calculation.

 I can’t see the benefit of adding prismoid coordinates to the report.

I see your point about the 0 (zero x,y coordinates  of the triangles). If i want to present the report of the calculation officially, i should delete them.
If i check to create isopach surface, at the almost exact calculation, can i see these "fantastic or wrong" triangles? If i correct them and save the new
surface can i have a correct report? The estimated calculation between the original surface and the isopach surface will produce the same result as the
almost exact calculation?

For the other matter about the coordinates of the prisms, i can export these coordinates to excel if i turn the 3dfaces to 3d polylines. The only "problem"
is that the lines in excel report of the polylines won't match with the numbering of the triangle centroids at the report of the volume calculation.

If you have zero x,y coordinates in the report but no surface triangles with centroids at that location there must be something wrong.

The isopach surface represent a elevation difference between two surfaces and can't be used as your suggestion. You could try to plot the isopach surface to a dwg and then drape it onto your design surface. Save it and use it in a almost exact calculation with your existing surface would give same result as a "Almost exact" calculation.
