Two of my favorite tools for plotting are "GoPlot" and "ViewCompanioin". GoPlot is a freeware and sends plt-files direct to the plotter.
ViewCompanion is a commercial software that I use to create pdf-files from plt-files. ViewCompanions main feature is conversion and there are a lot of supporting formats.

Hello,
to plot in PDF format and to diferent others modifications I use PDFill ( http://www.pdfill.com/ ).
It's free and it's making a lot.
I hope you will use it a lot and I hope you will like it.
